The Maxwell Auditorium with its 394 seats, 2 grand pianos, dual slide projectors, state-of-the-art sound system, two 16mm projectors, two dressing rooms, and a podium is reason enough to hold annual meetings, promotional seminars, and host guest lecturers. The Farr Conference Center, a 50' x 45' room is perhaps the Museum's most popular functions facility. The room includes excellent lighting, superb acoustics, and state-of-the-art AV equipment including fixed and/or cordless mikes; overhead projector; video; dual slide projectors; computer projection, and podium. It is equipped with a Creston panel for easy operation of the AV equipment. A spinet piano is available upon request. The Farr Conference Center holds up to 140 theater-style seats or 120 for a sit-down dinner. Call 781/861-6559 ext. 4106 for more information.
What a beautiful area! The lush green ferns and climbing philodendrons enhance the Museum's Courtyard making it a superior place to hold any event. Cocktails before a dinner party in the Farr Conference Center accompanied by a musical trio are perfect. Or you can use the space to promote new products, or to simply welcome your guests. The Carpenter Room is absolutely perfect for private business meetings. Set in the Library area of the Museum yet completely away from the bustling crowd, the Carpenter Room, 21' x 18' is equipped with a 16' table and 14 chairs. Easels and overhead projector are available, plus, for a small fee, endless coffee for your guests. Will seat 14 plus 6 observer seats. The Carpenter Room offers privacy and convenience.
