About Us

Founded in 1983, Currier & Chives is a New England based full service catering company.
We have earned a distinctive reputation by offering superb food and service for standard breakfasts and lunches,
board meetings, dinners, open houses, holiday parties, summer barbecues and outings, and a host of other events.
In addition, we can supply service and any needed rentals including tents, tables, chairs, linens and china.

Currier & Chives provides food and service for private, corporate and non-profit clients.
We enjoy a diverse clientele including Middlesex Community College, Harvard Museum of National History, Pierce House in Lincoln MA and the Concord Museum , just to name a few.

Our guests have included corporate and private celebrations, memorable weddings, and other spectacular social gatherings from intimate luncheons for two to grand holiday parties for upwards of 2000.

We are the preferred caterer for the Groton, Nabnasset, Butter Brook, and Butternut Farm Country Clubs, Hampton Inn, Winthrop Yacht Club and many other locations throughout the commonwealth. We are also on the catering lists at most of greater Boston’s beautiful and distinctive function sites.

Our staff has distinguished itself through dependability, polish and grace, motivated by a high standard of excellence.

Environmentally Responsible

Currier & Chives understand the value of our local and global environmental concerns and responsibilities. 
We are committed to being a part of the solution, operating consciously in regards to the environment, and by choosing sustainable products. Most noted we offer and use such sustainable seafood products as U.S. farmed shrimp, barramundi, striped bass, tilapia, and oysters just to name a few.
Also sustainable local produce plays a significant part in seasonally diverse menus.

We Currier & Chives participate and use daily the “Single Stream” recycling program. This program allows us to recycle all recyclable paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, and metals in one transportable container. Coupling this system with our involvement with EPA’s “Waste Wise” program is extremely beneficial as it reduces and tracks our climate foot print.
